Colds and coughs

Laura has quite a bad cold and cough. She even slept in until after 7 this morning and woke very bunged up. She's had a slight cough for a few days but now she is full of cold and has more of a chesty cough. We've had the Diana carers here again this morning (a bonus session!) and they remarked on how quiet she was. She had a bit of a temp (for her) as she was 37.6 rather than her usual 35.6. She perked up a bit at times but really hasn't wanted to do much at all.

I went to sort the carpets out (almost made a decision!!) this morning and then went up to the kennels to see how the kitchen fitting was going. It's looking good. We've had a few snags with measurements and some of the units have had to be changed but I guess it was to be expected as we never got B&Q to do a survey. It will be alright in the end though as we have a good fitter.

It's not looking good for escaping to Norfolk next week as J&H are probably moving out on Wednesday and Mick wants to stick around, plus someone has to stay up there if they have left. So Mick's dad will probably go to Norfolk instead. It's rather a shame as we could do with a break and the weather is fine and mild, but Mick's foot is still not 100% right so we wouldn't be able to go on our usual 6-10 miles daily walks. Laura's at Rainbows so we will have a rest at least.
