Laura is 10 years old and has Dravet syndrome. This is a rare neurological condition caused by a genetic mutation on the SCN1A gene. This has resulted in complex epilepsy, autism, ADHD, ataxia and severe learning difficulties. Laura is non verbal and walks unsteadily but is a very happy and mischievous girl who loves everybody and enjoys life.

Rainbows Christmas Party
Laura had a lovely time enjoying the music and disco lights at the Rainbows Christmas party! She especially liked a balloon flower that Mark made for her. It was nice catching up with staff and other families!
